For the Allen, I used a short 12mm bolt and nut, then a wrench over the bolt/nut to turn it.

very nice write up. i love it when people take the time to help everyone else. maybe i missed it but what were the costs of the parts?

I don't have a part number BUT, Napa has the seal! There are two versions so have them order both for you and keep the right one...

this is for doing the 4l60e to 4l80e swap on a 4 wheel drive. the input shaft on the tcase will not slide onto the output shaft of the 4l80e ergo, you have to do this swap

the input shaft itself mainly.

what else should be replaced on a high mileage truck. chain? pump?

the T-case is already out of the truck because of the LS1 swap and frame-off I am doing, I just want to make sure this thing will hold up when I put the power to it.

88962329 is the GM part number for the NP241 32 spline (4l80) input shaft.
