Is this a 4l60e or an 80e? Sounds like you are probably in 4th gear with the TCC engaged if I had to guess. Does this vibration go away if the TCC is off?

Most "shuddering" with the converter locked, at light/low loads(right before the 'verter unlocks) is from an ignition misfire, not the transmission.

TCC is torque converter clutch. This is the function of the transmission designed to increase gas mileage and also reduce heat from the converters rated stall speed. In your case it sounds like you might have some issues with the way your engine is running. I would probably address this first. I think what might be happening when you feel the complaint is the engine is misfiring. With the tcc being applied its more noticeable because the clutch is adding some load to the situation. I hope this helps you understand a little better. Vince

Yes. Thanks everyone! Guess I have to figure this misfire out. I put ngk's in it about 7k miles ago. It ran great until 500 miles ago. Still have original wires n coil packs.
