Default Which Trans do I have?

2000 GMC Sierra Z71 4.8L

I don't have the RPO Codes.

I'm thinking 4L60E But not sure...

Can you look on the trans and tell?

No there is 0% chance it has a 4l65e, 4l70e, 4l80e, etc. If it is the factory transmission then there is a 100% chance it is a 4l60e.

Assuming 4wd, since you say it's a Z... unless it's just a cosmetic package (Tahoes had 'em). Like others said... 60E.
