Default trans cooler install budget!! cheap!!

Hey guys i just learned something new the other day. I have always ran a trucool 40k on all my 80e swaps but at 140$ a kit they get kinda pricy quick. Well the other day i learned a ford f350 super duty runs the exact same size trans cooler. Just pull one out the junk yard and leave a few foot of ruber line on it to connect into your existing trans lines.

The f350 cooler cost me 10$ at the junkyard and took 10mins to pull. Figured i would pass the deal on to help others. I installed one the other day on my wifes tbss i just swapped a 80e into. Used cooler works awesome.

Enjoy!!

They're well known to be very good coolers. However, there can be debris in there which can get flushed into your trans.

I flushed it and air blowed it out. I think it will be fine. It beats 140$ for the same thing basicly.

FLushing it doesn't guarantee to remove debris

Y do u keep insisting it has debris in it. Like i said i cleaned it and when i pulled it the fluid looked great. Engine and Trans was still in truck. It was totaled from rear. So unless the cooler come apart inside or something i dont see how debris got in it.

Besides the guys who choose to get one of these over a new trucool are on a budget and wouldnt mind a lil trash in it lol.

He said there CAN be debris, and was just pointing out that flushing doesn't guarantee its removal.
