I am not aware of any companies that makes a transbrake for the 80e, but Hughes Performance does make a full manual valvebody.

the only way you can out a trans break on a 89e is to make it a manual valve body. This means that you will have to colum shift the truck all of the time. I looked in to it before. You can get a 2step that does almost do the same thing.

Hughes makes a trans brake setup, but you will need to go full manual valve body. I would just covert to a floor shifter while I was at it too, so you don't have to mess with the column shifter.

I look at my cataloges (98, 99, 00, and 05) and there website, and I did not find a transbrake for an 80e, but they do make a full manual valve body (knew about this, cost $502.56 from Hughes). I would agree with going to a floor shifter, manual tree shifters suck ***, always hit my right knee when in low gear (but that is just me).
