Finally got around to doing my 4L80E swap last night only took a couple of hours, not as hard a swap as you would think. It was definetly worth the wait and money spent. Got a full rundown of parts and prices for anyone else looking to do the swap:
2003 4L80E with 6000 miles- $750 Local junk yard
Fuddle 3400 HP converter- $650 Fuddle Racing
Transgo shift kit- $139 Installed myself not that hard only 3 hrs
Speartech wiring harness- $160 Speartech
DeRale tranny cooler with Fits in place of stock tranny cooler
electric fan- $139 Summit Racing
Crossmember modified- $5 Cut mount off and turn around
Driveshaft modified- $30 Change yoke out to 4L80E
------------------------------------
Total $1863
Worth every penny tranny shifts firm, converter feels really good

No programming issues, sent my computer to Futral Motorsports, Allen fixed me up. I got very tired of the TH350 no overdrive with 4:11's doesnt make for very fun cruising, plus i burnt the Th350 up when i sprayed the 250 shot, so that gave me a good reason to spend the money and fix it right.

How did you set the firmness on the shift kit? You happy with it? Mine is getting closer to being done, but I'm still having some issues. All of which seem to point to the shop that installed the Transgo.

I took a drill bit in between the firm .096 and the race .120 and used it, its a good stiff shift, not so hard that it jerks but you know when it shifts. I was really scared with this swap because there were so many things that could be wrong if it didnt work, between the new tranny, converter, tuning, shift kit. I guess i was really fortunate, stick with it its worth it in the end.
