tranny years

I looking for a junker to use till I can fix my broken tranny. My truck is an 01, what years 4l60's are the same? can I use one from a 99 ????

should be able to use and 60e from 99-02 for sure. i put a 03 in my 99 and works fine so maybe any from 99 and up with the ls base motors
