Default !!!tranny issues on 4l60e !!!

I have a 01 GMC swb 160k has servo and shift kit! OK so my issue I ran into was truck runs fine on (D) gears shift firm and everything up to cruising and highway speeds but when I come to a stop then get on it like “punching it" it does not want to pass gear rpm gauge revvv up to like 5500+ until I release the pedal! So I tried it again but manually shifting it this time “punched it" and goes into gear the moment I shift! I tried power braking it on D to burn the tires and again it highly revs high and does not even burn em or spin them! Has 22" wheels!! HOW SHOULD I START APROACHING THIS ISSUE? MUCH HELP WOULD BE HIGHLY APPRECIATED!

Sounds like you have a fluid leak somewhere. Either your shift kit is not sealed well or your accumulator is bleeding by is your filter seated all the way in?

Thanks for your feedback bud! And I haven't literally checked inside the pan just yet but I did check tranny fluid and it seems that its holding at normal level or equivlant to second dot on dipstick and thats @ tranny warm!

i did not mean that you are loosing fluid from the transmission more that your gaskets are not sealing and fluid is bleeding out of the passages in the valve body

Where would u recommend starting off? U think shift selonoids and filter would be a good start?
