Warranty is 2 years / 36000 miles. At this point I kinda hope it keeps breaking and he gets tired of fixing it so he can buy me a 4L80E....and yes Beto, I would buy you some Bud if you came to help

Once you have it built right and it is functioning properly, why not sell it to raise partial funds to buy an 80E before you destroy it.

I want to do a 6L swap anyway, I'm just gonna start looking for an engine/tranny combo instead of just the engine. When I find a good deal I'll buy it, pull the 5.3 and tranny and sell them to recoup some of the cost.

I don't think you should worry to much about selling your trans on the forum, as long as who ever buys it isn't trying to put down as much power as you are. I just think you have hit the limit of the 60e trannys in genral. Not just your 4L rebuilt 65 times trans.

- only putting down 410 rwtq? I thought the 60/65 could be built for more...

If you want I can sell you or your builder our sleeved input drum w/cryoed shaft which would prevent that from happening again, We use them in all our level 5 builds. Then again it sounds like you want it to keep breaking to get that 80 in there faster. But it would be a good idea if your interested.

Thanks Chuck, if it happens again I will suggest it to him - he is convinced that it was a defective part, and he seems to be very stubborn about not giving up on what he thinks is right. So - if it breaks again, maybe he will realize that his part is not as good as he thinks, then I can get him to spring for your part.
