Thanks for clearing that up.What specificly would be the difference of the 2400 Yank verse's taking a new OE truck converter and restalling it?OEMs are furnaced brazed right?

The converter we use was a special pump blade that is not used in the USA it was built as a high stall from GM, and we go a little more, also the turbine hub spline is heat treated for the extra abuse as is the pump drive hub.
yes, the factory converter for the 4.8, 5.3,6.0 and 8.1 are brazed but the trailblazer 4.2 converter is not.
You can go to about 2300 to 2400 in the 5.3 but it will not have the high eff. that our 2400 does the diff. is about 3 % less than the stock unit about
94% where our unit will run 96-97% not a big deal but but enough to move you RPM to MPH a little at the top of 2th and 3th gear

it is everything except we do not have any more of the special pumps so we have to rework the factory unit
it will have as stated but in 2400 stall
