our tt3000 is a new converter not a rebuilt unit from GM we buy are parts from the same co.s
The TB converter that you buy is a rebuilt used unit that has old parts when you get it from the dealer and it has a light duty clutch as they use the same converter in the S10,
It is a multi fit unit from a REman supplier
we can re work it to stall higher as we do and up grade some parts but not all
our tt3000 is all new and will hold up longer and will tow close to stock as the shift extension is lower
as we build it to a closer fit to be more eff. under load we can not do this with the looser fit of TB parts

Thanks for that reply,a lot of guys think that a Trailblazer converter is the cheap end all option for a high performance converter and you were unknowingly fanning the flames on that arguement.

What can you do with an F car convertor, what do those even stall at stock. Can they be used in a truck behind a 6.0L. Reason i ask is because i have quite a few of these laying around.

is 2400 the most you can go with the stock silverado stall? i was leaning more towards a 2600 and will i still be able to tow with it?
