Well, I was told by everyone that I would never be able to tow my car with my truck. Well, last weekend I took the car out to the track for the first time with my truck. It towed great, and it cruised very nicely down the highway. I DID have to use an Equalizer hitch, but from my experience, I will always tow with an equalizer hitch lowered or not. The diff is about 2" away from the bottom of the box, and it didn't hit except for one bump, but it would have hit regardless if there was a trailer on the truck or not....

So if your afraid to lower your truck on a 4/6 drop because you have to tow with it, just get a good equalizer hitch, and mount a hitch behind your licence plate to get the hitch high enough off the ground.

I was going to put bags in the back, but after towing with the equalizer hitch, I am going to save my money for something else. One or the other would work I'm sure, I prefer the equalizer hitch because of the stability of the trailer.

[QUOTE=Dezert1500;4233894]I haul with a 6/10 no problems and am working on welding up a hitch that comes out through the license plate. If it's setup right towing isn't an issue like mentioned.

Yeah, we ended up just building a hitch last week under my truck. If you can weld, it is very simple, I will have to take some pictures and post them up. I CANNOT weld, so my father in-law built the hitch, and I didn't want to stand around doing nothing so I de-badged the truck. haha.
