Default Torsion bar question?

My truck is all stock, including tires and wheels. I was thinking about tightening the torsion bars just to level the truck out. I'm guessin it would only be about an inch or so. Would I be causing any problems by doing that? Thanks ya'll.

If you turn them up over 3 full revolutions, you need to have it re-aligned. But no, you won't be hurting anything. It take about and inch and 3 quarters.

shouldnt be an issue. I don't think you will even see a ride difference, unless you crank all the way which still be only be slighty noticable. Now if you add keys and crank thats a different story.

Go for it, it will look better.

No problems, but any time you alter the ride height you should have your wheel alignment checked...and I do believe that the ride will be a bit harsher than before...

Well, I cranked 'em three turns and brought the front up exactly and inch. Then I went and got some generic lift blocks for the back and brought the back up an inch as well. Took it out on the highway and it drives exactly the same as it did before. I couldn't even tell any difference in the ride.
