When I installed a Coan 3500 stall in my 99 Z28 I had a few years back it ruined the car. I learned my lesson, don't try and save a few dollars because on is a little cheaper than the other. I don't know if I needed a tune badly, or if the torque converter just really sucked but I only dropped 3 tenth going from stock to the TC and that was running ET streets and alot cooler weather. I know this doesn't really apply to what the questions you have but I hope you could learn from my experince and to your research.

Def going w/ a quality product. I only want to do this once, at least for a long while. How did the Coan ruin your car? JW..

It didn't ruin it it just took all the throttle responce away and made it no more fun to street race because it would spin so bad....even with an ET street and those tires on another car cut a 1.7 60 and he was stock. On mine 1.89, I guess I just got a bad converter so I just wants to make sure that no one else went through what I did. Good luck

Default Finally Did It!

Well, I just ordered it and man I feel relieved already. Ended up getting the PI Vigilante Triple disk, 3000 stall.
I want to thank you guys for all the input and feed back. PTN rocks.
