Default Which Torque Converter ?

I need your feedback on converters. Which model and stall speed did you choose. How's yours holding up ? Oh, and any thoughts on Lockup vs. Non-lockup?
Experts feel free to chime in. Trans is a 4L60E. Thanks guys and....Please VOTE.

I run a Yank SS3600 9.5" behind my 5.3 with cam and 150 shot... its a GREAT converter and I'd recommend it to pretty much everyone... with your blower I'd go about 3200. Mine's got anti balooning plates and all... its a VERY nice, driveable, tough converter for the street or the track

are you staying with some type of 4L60 or 65E??

edit-the n/a 5.3 record holder also runs this converter.... pretty much speaks for itself.

I am running a PI 9.5" 3200 RPM Triple Disk behind a 5.3L and i couldn't be happier it is tight as hell considering the high stall but i did get an FLT at the same time to prevent problems

I gotta vote Vig. Over and over again. My little 9.5 PI rocked the house!! Rode in a truck with a Yank before I made the decision to go PI. I was not impressed with how the Yank acted or stalled.

blown06 is running w/ the 4l80e and you have a 4l60e ?

Have not spoke to Chuck or Vince about selection yet, but that does seem strange. Maybe the weight factor, type of trans. and your specific mods have something to do w/ it.
