I know that you're making more power than I am for sure, you're 1.4 seconds faster than me in the 1/4. Broken parts are bound to happen. You definately do need to upgrade your rear axle in some manner. 9.5" 14 bolt is a good upgrade for you. The only reason that I would try the Moser 10 bolt axles is budget, and less down time. I wasn't trying to say "don't use the 14 bolt", was just pointing out another option.

he said that they are 25% stronger than stock and would more than likely break over time. he said the stuff they have ends at 99 but he could take measurements and see if they would work or not. he said it was more probably the boost breaking the axles than the locker. the two runs that broke the axles i was going for gold. lol brake to the floor and pedal almost to the floor. i was going for the best 60ft i could get. 7psi was what i seen before i looked back at the light to launch. i have the bigger brakes on my tahoe too due to the weird traction control. so it holds pretty well if i push hard enough. the backs are actually bigger than the fronts. the split second before they broke it felt awesome. but then the feeling went away with a snap/bang.

the great thing about going the route i am on the 14bolt, is that the axle has the same suspension. direct bolt in, it is .5" wider on each side but i don't care. i was a big supporter of the 8.6" rear and wanted to keep it, until this happened.......

you could always fix your front differential.

lol. get that 14 bolt put in and rock it out. The only issue you'll need to worry about is traction.
