i havent done anything yet, i am just looking into the future to see what i am up against before i dive right in. i hadnt thought about traction until recently, it hit me if i have all this power and it just sits there and spins then it wont matter.....will caltracs and slicks be enough to keep it on the ground? any other recommendations for good traction?

the 2003 SEMA rcsb ss truck grafted a tahoe rear frame section onto the silverado frame in order for it to work, the frame widths are deifferent between the two trucks, more work than necessary IMO. just get a 4link and QA1 coilovers

Im still active. Just because I haven't been posting doesn't mean I don't look

In fact I am in the processes of putting on a panhard bar. Stay tuned for the write up.

But on topic. There are several companies that make bolt on 4-links cheap enough that it would negate any advantage of a Tahoe rear end swap.

Pretty much anybody that makes an airbag set up for our truck makes a 4-link. Replace the air bag with a coil over and your there.
