Default tahoe rear suspension

Hey guys, just wanderin if anyone has done or thought about swaping the rear suspension out of a tahoe into a silverado. didnt know if this would help out with the traction issues out back or not since its not leafs in a tahoe. any other suggestions for traction in the rear (besides the obvious 4 point) would be much appreciated. TIA.

That's what chevy did with their 2003 SEMA RCSB SS truck. It had a Tahoe rear susp. setup.

will not work

there was a couple threads a LONG time ago, like 3-4 years ago when goldenvelvet was active on here.

the 2003 SEMA rcsb ss truck grafted a tahoe rear frame section onto the silverado frame in order for it to work, the frame widths are deifferent between the two trucks, more work than necessary IMO. just get a 4link and QA1 coilovers

Just throw a set of Caltracts on the leaf springs.

i agree on the caltracs, from whati hear a 4link is a bit difficult for the average individual to setup properly, its needs to be setup for your app. by a suspension professional
