Default Swapping for Pos

On project silverado, im finding my regular rear end to be extremely annoying, and I feel a swap for a Pos rear end in the future. I figured my best bet would be to find a stock pos rear end in probably a junk yard to replace the one I currently have. Is this a relativily hard swap? or should it go together pretty easily?

your best bet would be to have a locker or limited slip unit put in the rear you already have. if its used for anything other than the track I would get an eaton or equivalent limited slip... you will be happy with it and it would be cheaper. the stock G80 rears have been known to fail as well....

Default While youre at it

While youre at it change the gears out too. The swap isnt bad just clean everything really well with brake cleaner and might as well clean the axles too. Good luck.. oh yea i love the eaton posi unit, dont go back stock.
