Default 2 Mishaps in 2 days, I think i am screwed

Well on sunday i managed to rip my lower left hand side brake vent scoop off when pulling into my driveway that was plowed in, which isnt two big of a deal but yesterday on my way to the gym i was on the highway and we were all traveling pretty fast then at the last second the car in front of me swerved to the right, i couldnt go to the right myself cause there was a car in that lane right next to me so my only choice was to go left. Well i didnt get to try and swerve around anything before i ran over something. it was a decent size box which i swear had a bowling ball or something heavy and compact in it. I was finally able to pull off the road some ways up, i thought i blew out a tire at first but dint notice anything major. So after about 10 min i drove back to where i hit whatever it was and there was nothing there, now i know i hit something but i couldnt find a box or anything, almost like someone had possibly picked it up by the time i was able to track back. the truck is driving fine and straight still but i got home and really got under it and i noticed a huge dent in lower part of the sub frame towards the front after i cleared away all the snow, i guess its an impact zone on there. I really dont want to go through insurance cause i think my neighbor can prob fix it for me but here is a pic. Nothing else seems to of got damaged but what do you guys think, is this going to be something really major to fix and i need to go through my insurance or just have my neighbor do it? Well here it is, i really dont think it is as bad as it looks but what do i know

Ya, I would have to agree, doesn't look like it would ever effect anything.

from the looks of it your driver front wheel will be out of toe either in or out when you get it aligned but make sure you do that... I see you are running Toyos (sig pic??) and them or any other tire would be shot if you go on it too long like that... believe me...

The truck still drives straight and i get no vibrations or anything. Its going up on the lift thurs as of right now just cause there werent any spots open today when i ran over to my buddies collision center. I had my stockers on when this happened so i'm not runnin the 22's with the toyo's. I think the pic makes it a lot worse than it really is. I use to work at an auto body shop like 10yrs ago doing miner crap and seen a lot worse get fixed. I just dont want to hear that i need a whole new sub frame or anything. Everything else seems to be untouched, i just want it fixed one way or the other. Thanks for the responses so far guys

Have the alignment checked and corrected if necessary, you won't always feel a pull when the alignment is out of spec.

yeah a;ignment will be done to be safe, how hard is it going to be for someone to pull that out again so it looks normal? The collision place was talking all about a new sub frame and stuff but he never got in on the lift i really dont want to have to go that route unless really need be
