Default swaping to the 4l80e

i have a 99 ex.cab 1500 and 2 and overdrive are gone. i got a 4l80e out of wrecked 99 2500. what all do i need to make it work in the 1500? i have the 5.7 motor and the tranny is still hooked to it. the tranny has 900 miles on it.

He said that it is connected to the 5.7 and it was a 99. Does it not matter that he will be bolting this up to a Gen III and the tranny was for a SBC? Just a thought didn't know if it mattered.
