Starting engine without transfer case bolted up?

I was smart enough NOT to try putting it back into park after I had it through the gears. I imagined a horrible noise and just shut the engine off instead LOL

Haha I was gonna say if you do do that, make sure and shut the engine off first. I only know because I've seen people bust drive shafts and throw it in drive and ouch..
