starter?

i R2'd the starter... hoped that would help but its still making a sorta clunking noise on start up and thats it...
what would loose TC bolts sound like?... is it possible that the TC would move and clunk on start up if they werent torqued correctly?

But once it is bolted to the flexplate that bastard should not move at all!! Think about it flexplate is bolted to the crank and does not move then you bolt up your torque converter to something that does not move.

Did you check your clearances between the exhaust and the frame crossmembers? My pipe was rattling against the cross member for the torsion bars. Did I completely misunderstand your question?
