Default stall and towing. please help

okay i have a single cab with 3.73's and a ss3600 stall... and i want to tow an object that weighs 1200lbs.... .. but actual pulling will only be around 600 if that..... ( its a 19 ft boat)

my question is. would my truck be ok for short distances?

i think i may be okay since i have the 3.73's right?

since my truck is a single cab and not a crew cab that helps shave off some weight .....

How does it weigh 1200 but you will only be pulling 600?

Youll hardly notice its there...until you go to stop.

Silver-mod-o towed a 6k# trailer from Virginia to Texas with his.. he had 4.10s and a Yank SS3600.

im talking about rolling mass vs actual weight... even though the object weighs 1200-1300 lbs. you only need to put a certain about of thrust to get it moving....

and to the other post up there. Yes i do have a trans cooler, i have 2 in line actually, ...

as long as your trans temps stay under 210 your good... 220* and id be gettin worried.. 240 and id be finding somewhere to pull over to let that baby cool off.

Like stated above, just keep an eye on trans temps. You should be fine.
