SS Trans ?s

2006 SS Silverado 2wd and awd which trannys came in these trucks looking at getting 2wd possibly to put my 408 into.

In 2006 the SSS was RWD only, all model years came with a 4L65E.....you are gonna need to build it up for it to survive behind a 408.......
