soft 1-2 shift after trans upgrades
#1
i installed a transgo HD kit in my 04 tahoe today along with the sonax 4th gear servo and corvette 2nd
i used all the springs that came in the kit except the high rev springs, used 2 acumulator spacer washers, drilled everything for a "firm shift" not the all out race shift, and used no spacers in the servo pack, using the vette servo and sonnax made the servo pin play just about right
i road tested it for about 15 miles, no codes, no slippage, but the 2-3 shift is a little soft
1-2 is nice and firm and the 2-3 shift almost feels stock.
is this due to torque management- or did anyone else have this concern and figure it out? thanks

pretty sure that's normal, i know with only a vette servo and some tuning, my 1-2 is very firm and 2-3 is fairly stock feeling...except for the quickness of the shift
i'm sure others will chime in..
