Default slick size

What's everybody running for slicks at the track? I ran my pb a couple weeks ago. 12.0@unknown mph because it wouldn't show it. But I also got a pb on my 60ft. 1.8! Boy was I excited. Anyways at thw end of the track im shifting to third and i feel if I get a little bigger slick I can stay in the upper rpms in 2nd for almost the whole way down. Im running some 27" slicks now. Shiuld I got with something closer to 30" or will that beto big and just bog me down? My setup is 6.0 about 8.2ish:1 compression. Isky turbo cam. 3.42 gears. Front mount on 15lbs. Im shifting at 64-6500 rpms.

I believe a lot of guys run a 28x10, I run a 27" for the time being because I am NA with 3.73 gears. Depending on your setup you could run a 30" if you tweak the tune down low to get you out of the hole (You may could build more boost on the line or bring the boost in sooner with the heavier slicks). You could also look at re gearing as well...
