ya i am not sure if it is the gears or the trutrac.... Granted the gears have ALOT of track time on them... They have about 70k on the gears, and I used to go to the track every other week for about 2 years, each time making 3-15 passes... So i would not surprise me if the gears are wore out....

 

Yeah you have been putting a hurting on them gears lol. What gear u runin? I run 4.56s with a 4l80e. They are awesome out the hole but gas sucks. Soon to be swapping to 4.11s. Mine are about gone anyways.

 

I am running Yukon 4.10s... If i do need to replace them i am gonna see how i like the 80e first to see if i want to go up or down in gear ratio... I am kinda thinking 3.90s or 4.30s...

 

yeah im kinda in between 4.11s or 4.30s. But i swapped from 3.73 to 4.56 which was a night and day difference with that long first gear.

 

what converter do you run with your 80?
