Should my front bumpstops be this close?

I was just wondering if my bumpstops should be this close to the lower control arm? As you can see, they are basically resting on the control arm with the truck just sitting there... My truck is lowered 2" in the front with springs.

Yes, that is perfectly fine. The bump stop will disappear into that casing once your truck is fully bottomed out (if that makes sense). It is a great design. The bump stops should not be removed on the front, as it is unsafe.

Looking at my stock truck, there is 1.5" of clearance between the bumpstop and control arm, I would try to get it back to that.
