LMAO! That's a funny thread title!
Going to do a rear end fluid change. Once I have the cover off would it be ok or advised to shoot a bunch of brake cleaner in there to get out any gunk?
Also,
How do I fix a leak at the front of the diff? The yoke (?) that the U-joint slides into. It seems to be leaking there and running down the bottom of the pumpkin. Is there a seal there as well?

I've done it lots of times, spray the crap out of them and then blow it out with air. that stuff evaporates so fast there's nothing left by the time your done. yes, there is a seal behind the yoke that can be replaced, you just have to make sure when you tighten the pinion nut that you have the right pre-load on the bearings when you put it back together.
