I remember i got quoted over a grand to get a shift kit put in. So i just did it myself. 200 is very reasonable.

My cousin is a mechanic and does all my work for me when i asked him how much he would charge a friend he said $240 so 200 sounds decent.. it very time consuming ive been with him when he does shift kits.

I installed my HD-2 and Vette Servo. Took me a day to get it in. Very straight forward.

i know the HD2 shift kit will take care of all that but you need to make sure your computer is set back to all stock pressures and let the shift kit take care of all that

Got the transgo hd2 in my 05. Firm shift and really fast is what I like about it. Doesn't fall on its face after it shifts. Best bang for the buck for your trans

Did you do any PCM tuning at the same time as your shiftkit.

I'm just curious how a shiftkit would help torque recovery after shifts if the shift points were the same, and the same torque converter was used?

Another plus from a shift kit is the extra flow of fluid.
Also if your chirping the tires and it feels like somebody runs into you when it shifts... bye bye transmission. Its very rough on it.
