Default Shift kit and Servo install

So i had my Shift kit and Vette servo installed today. And wow the results were awesome. I figured it my chirp the tires a little on the 1-2 shift but no it makes both tires put down 20ft black strips. It feels like a whole new truck now, He also did some tuning adjustments since i havent had it re tuned since i installed my headers. I am Very happy with the results and it was definitely worth the money. Should have the Tru Trac and 3.73's in within a month or so and then Cam shortly after that.

you might want to back off the line pressure if it is hitting that hard on the shift. Congrats on the new mods!

x2.... line pressure is too high. It shouldn't be shifting that hard, you're gonna break something, and its not like you're going faster if you're spinning the tires between shifts.

I will have to call him tomorrow but i thought he did turn the line pressure down. He put the shift kit in first and drove it and didnt like that it wasnt shifting that hard so he dropped the tranny again and made some adjusments and drilled the wholes bigger and liked it much better. But i will give him a call.

Now driving a truck without a shift kit will feel wierd to you. Every time I get in parke10 GMC or the FJ cruiser, I brace myself for the jerk that never comes, haha. Congrats on the rise in your trucks performance!!

Haha me too! It's kindof a relief riding in a car with a smooth transmission every once and awhile.
