so your that nice of a guy that you put $2k out of your pocket just to help him out? come on man no one does that! he paid you every time his trans was there maybe you didnt charge him full price but you still charged him, the bottom line was he sent you the trans to go over all of it im not a transmission specialist or any thing but last i checked the pump is a part of the transmission so it was up to you to look it over along with the rest of it to make sure every thing was good so all this bad pump nonsense seams like your just trying to find a way to say its not your fault but since the pump is bolted to the trans shame on you for not looking it over or telling him that it needs to be upgraded if you had done that the other shop would not have to replace it and put the wrong filter on it

im telling you as a business owner like you just leave this be your already over your head i dont even think its possibly to recover its a loosing battle and its crazy you posted this on your FB page and dragged your own rep thru the mud

 

again this is the perfect example of people not actually reading and comprehending when the trans was sent here to be built his pump was broken I did not build the trans even he said he had a backspace issue a new pump was installed along with the build he did not send me the trans to inspect it! I built the trans and installed a new pump geez man he broke that pump as well I sent him another pump a local shop installed that pump and they also installed the wrong filter causing more damage what part if this are you not comprehending?

 

Jack's calls me with a broken 4l60e that he had built at another shop he says it has good parts in it
he and me unit it has a broken pump and Chinese planets installed
unit was built by me as well a a NEW pump installed
we discussed his power levels he said no more than 500
a converter was selected for that power level
he gets trans back and pump breaks again obviously this truck is having problems with breaking pumps 1 from another builder 1 from me at this point
in and him another pump with a billet rotor and was going to walk him thru installation he decided not to do it himself
he takes it to a shop they install pump and install a new filter and may I add comend me on how well the trans is built as even said by Jack's
he is driving truck it pops out of gear slams back in and then pops back out
he calls me ibadviae him something broke
I get unit here entire gear train is busted
filter that shop installed being a shallow pan filter was dangling around in the trans
I fix the unit for him on my dollar for what reason I have no idea any other shop would have voided his warranty I spent about 800 bucks on a new gear train for unit
At no time have we ever had any clutch failures or anything
he gets unit back dynos it it makes 6xx i advise him that way more power than you told me it would hve and than the converter was built for
I tell him you need to change the converter to a billet converter with balloon plate or it will fail
he runs it anyway
converter fails as I said it would
I get unit back again why I have no idea
unit is full of converter debris
I clean unit out he gets new converter now has lockup issues
at this point i am done with it
ibhave at that point warranties the unit 3 times for no fault of my own period

 

 

And I thought we were at this point way back around post #240...
