My friend needs a replacement housing for his TH400. It's for a 4x4. He thinks he heard of heavy duty replacement somewhere.

 

I don't think you can buy a heavy duty transmission housing, you might be thinking of a scatter shield. As for a replacement housing go by the junk yard and get a rebuildable TH400 tranny, I have pick up several cost about $50.

 

aren't TH400's cheap in there own right anyway? He broke a housing on a 400?
