Default Re-tune with HD2 shift kit

Do I need to get my tune changed if I install a Transgo HD2 shift kit?

You should have all your commanded shift times set to zero and you can pull some TM but I don't think it's necessary.

Ok. I have already had all TM taken out. Not sure about the other. I know the pressure was bumped up for firmer shifts.

you will want to take that out. Set your line pressure back to stock.

I am sure it will take a week or so to get my re-tune so do you think it will be OK to drive with the shift kit until then? Will my higher pressure settings hurt anything or just make it shift firmer?

I obviously will not be hammering on it until I get a re-tune.

I think you should be cool but I'm no expert on that.

You should be ok. I would avoid any WOT launches. I suspect the shift will give you a good bang. If you take it easy you should not have any issues IMO.

yeah the 1-2 shift was really hard but the rest wasn't too bad. I just got my tune, Nelson rushed me one out quick. Their customer service is the best Ive ever delt with. Shifts real good now.

Now if I can only figurte out what is causing my LTFT's to go up at idle????
