I take it its servo/solenoid time? Replace A and B solenoids? Just want to get some more opinions before I drop more money on this heap.... Fresh service with Dex6. It's always done this so it's nothing new.
Random Hard shifting. Mostly after prolonged HW driving.
And the second issue is the converter randomly acts like it wants to lock up when I'm at a stop. I usually just wait for it to clear off, but it hasn't stalled yet. it hasn't unlcoked once from when I was slowing from HW speeds.. Does the converter have a drain plug? (Stupid question?) Converter replacement time? I really don't want to do this.
Not much done to the truck. 2000 Silverado RCLB 2500. Full top end rebuild, stock 2000 Camaro Cam, HP tuners, no mods to the trans tune other than delete Tq managment or zero their tables. GMPP LS6 blue valve springs, mild ported heads and exhaust manifolds... just TLC.

Bump....
So the TCC Solenoid is also on the valve body. What would be the common denominator here? I'd like to obviously avoid taking the trans down if I can. Seems like everything on that valve body is acting up. The TCC actually locked up and stalled the truck at a light yesterday.
I've never had good luck with GM autos...
