quick tranny question

Default quick tranny question

my brother in law has a 2000 silvy 5.3 4l60e... his trannys starting to go... he doesnt mod his truck too much so dont need an 80e or anything... just curious what years are a DIRECT swap... mainly just worried bout electronics i know that any 99-06 will bolt up.. thanks in advance fellas...

I THINK that as long as they have a bolt on bellhousing. And the years you have stated. Even the 65e and such will bolt right up. Ive had problems in the past with getting the right TC to go on the input shaft. And I think it had to do with getting the TC being built for any old 4l60. Not too sure though. Call FLT and ask....
