Default Question for FLT

I am thinking about ordering a level 5 4L60E. I was wondering if that would be good enough for my truck. The truck and mods I have are 2000 gmc sierra 1500 excab Z71 with underdrive crank pulley, 150 wet kit, headers, TR224 cam, cold air intake, and yank 3000 converter. Later on I might put a turbo on it but that wont be for a couple of years.

With your current mods a level 5 can handle that. We rate these to 500-550rwhp so as long as you are under that you will be fine. Vince

Im not sure how much horse power it puts down because i havent had a good transmission. Do you think i need the billet output shaft if i take the nitrous off of it.

I thought it would be a little more than that with the nitrous, cam and full bolt ons.

To be honest probaly not, it depends how your cam likes the nitrous, i was running Full Bolt ons with a 150 wet and put down 400~hp and 427lb/ft

that was on a stock cam, but the stock motors LOVE nitrous
