Default Pinion Angle??

2010 Sierra RCSB, McGaughy's 34060 lowering kit...

I want to correct my pinion angle.. Right now in the back it's at 6* and front is 4*...So do I look for a 2* pinion shim for the rear end?

Right now I'm set at a 3/5 drop but plan on going to a 4/7 soon, should I wait until I lower it more and re-measure my angles? Or (since I raise it to 3/5 for winter) should I get the 2* shims for this suspension setup then get whatever other shims for the 4/7?

Also, what brand wins?

Pretty much how my truck is now

Your transmission is at a 4 degree down angle to your driveshaft? Yes those are some bad pinion angles as your rear end will rotate under power and make the pinion angle worse.

I would rather check the angles and do it right the first time instead of just winging it and risking breaking and ******* **** up.

Yes, I'm pretty sure that's how it is, but looking at the picture I made I'm second guessing myself, so I'm going to recheck it all.
Which it does kind of make sense to be that way as my rear end is above the leaf springs now..

If your measurements and diagram are correct, you need to pitch the pinion down 3*-4*. That is because the pinion will climb under power.
