Default PI Vig 2600 chatter

Anyone develop a slight chirp/ping/chatter from their Vig convertrer? I developed a strange faint noise originating from the front of the trans / converter area after warm-up. I have heard of this converter doing this in F-bodies so I was just curious if anyone else has this issue?

Mine sounds like a few marbles loose in the converter. It has since day 1. Now at 45K, it sounds exactly the same and I have had no issues with it. It is not loud but if I stuck my head under the driver's door I can definitely hear it. I'm firmly in IGNORE mode on this one.

I seem to have one at the top of second and third gear. It is very small but I agree with the marbles comment, I thought it might be a little detonation but am not picking up anything on my scangauge.

For the Dr. tranny fixx I wonder if FLT would approve of it? I would like to hear their opinion.

I used to run a multidisk 9.5 3500 stall PI in a Gn and it rattled like a snake even in park from the first day installed. never had any problems with it other than a really noticeable lock up. felt like it had a 5th gear mario
