Default oops ! broke my driveshaft !

Alright well I knew it was going to happen sooner or later... my driveshaft broke the other night. Its had a pretty noticeable vibration lately around 50 mph to 60 mph but I fig it was just one of my tires didnt think it was the driveshaft. Well when it happend I was going about 70-75 then all of a sudden it started howling real bad then boom lol. Pulled over right away I already knew what had happen cuz I can hear the damn thing hitting everything under the truck. Look under the front half was still in the trans and the other half laying on the ground connected to the rear axle. Inspected it earlyer today and nothing got messed up at all thankfully, the muffler has a lil dent but nothing major happend. Just called onstar too there gunna come and pick it up here in a few min. Now dont think that oh **** it broke at such a low speed mine will brake too. No honostly I have taken my truck way over 100 SEVERAL times so I guess slowly but surely the structural integrity of the driveshaft was going to ****, hence starting to vibrate from 50 to 60. Well fig whats a story without pictures lol here are some pics of it...

Alright well looking to upgrade now anyone have any ideas? I was thinking of sending in some specs to The Driveshaft Shop and having them make me a 2 piece one but still not sure. My truck isnt making alot of power right now but when I go with the 408 I want somthing thats going to last.

How low are you? Seems like it was rubbing the crossmember.

the only reason it was rubbing the crossmember was because the trans was still spinning after it broke and that front half was resting on it. My truck is stock hight right now minus the factory rear lift blocks

I picked up my friends stock drive shaft and it was lifting a piece of a cloud. Can't believe they even hold together during normal driving.
