round 2. i am going to paste this in the first post.

tonight i pulled off most of the tortion bar suspension stuff.

20lbs for left tortion
20lbs for right tortion
15lbs for tortion bar cross member
4.5lbs for left key
4.5lbs for right key

64lbs for tortion bar stuff. there are still a couple of cross memeber supports i can take off.

couple of other things i pulled off

4.5lbs for tcase controler
10lbs for sway bar with hardware
3lbs for 2 suspension limiters

add this to the 144lbs above and it is at 144+64+17.5 = 225.5lbs

coil overs will add a few lb's but not much since i still have to take off the stock shocks.

tranny has to come out and goto finishline for a 2wd output shaft. i want to do a stall at the same time so it is going to cost a few bucks.

i have a 10.5" tripple disk now and it is set up as loose as it can go. i would call it a 2800. next step is a 9.5" multidisk. i would like to see 3500-4000rpm.

yeah, they told me the same thing but my 10.5" is as loose as it can get and it is too tight for what i want to do.

the problem is i want to be able to race this truck without the nitrous. if i have a brake i will be able to build boost no matter what but how do you prestage, build boost, then roll 1 foot to full stage. thats just not going to work with this tight of a stall. with a looser stall i think i can get a 2step and get it to build boost prestaging and still be able to let the truck roll into the full stage lights. then tbrake, higher 2step rpms, full launch boost should all be able to happen in a fraction of a second.

Unless I've missed it... are you planning on keeping...

Stereo and all associated speakers and harness(s)?
Complete A/C system?
Power Steering? (If you are going to front skinnies)
All insulation inside the truck including padding underneath the carpet?
Power brake booster and all associated antilock harware and harness(s)?

The only thing that would cost you any money as far as these ideas are concerned are a manual brake reservoir and some tubing to fab up some replacement brake lines...

... not sure how streetable you want the truck to be including creature comforts but some ideas anyway unless, like I said, I missed stuff you've already done in other threads...
