Default nvg149 4l80e adapter

Any one have a part # for the adapter need for the awd 4l80 conversion? I've been searching but never found out exactly which one I need or where to get it from.

Are you talking about the adapter housing or the input gear for the transfer case? The adapter housing is just the regular 6 bolt 4x4 housing.

EAD Performance makes a resplined 32 spline input gear for the nvg149

Link

the PN in there should work if the AWD input is the same as the 4x4.

gm PN 88962329

I bought my from gmpartsdirect, I would just google that PN and gowith the cheapest

And the adapter housing IS different from the 60e and 80e, something I learned the hard way.

There is no stock replacement for it that is why you have to get the resplined one from EAD performance. It's a lot more expensive than the regular 4x4 input as well.

2nd that. I don't think EAD had a part # listed. Just call Justin @ EAD and tell him you have a NVG149 AWD transfer case. You will also need the trans to t-case adapter. IIRC, it was around $485 shipped with the $80 core charge for everything.

Here are a few more pictures from EAD of their crossmember adapter 9two reinforcement gussets not shown) and the input shaft. The crossmember adapter has held up really well and was about $35 shipped.

Index of /4l80eSSS
