Default NV4500 fluid?

does anyone have a spec on whats supposed to be in there? mine is in a chevy and i want to go to a synthetic fluid if i can to get away from hard shifts on cold mornings. i know this is hard to get away from and thats the only downside to a manual tranny. just want to see what you guys are running?

your in the Ford thread Ron... might get more of a response if you put it under the GM one. maybe ask one of the mods to move it for you

Moved from Ford Section. Hopefully you'll have better responses in here. Good luck. Wish I knew the answer.
