I say look local for a power coating place and have them blast it. Why not power coat it red?

Also, boil a pot of water and pour it on it and see what happens.

Most media blasters won't touch it till it's clean of the wax/grease. They will power wash it then blast it.

I would clean the wax **** off first yourself to save money. Get it clean and take it to a powder coater. It will be tuff and last a long time! You can even shoot clear over the powder coat if it's not shiny enough for you.

***WARNING TOXIC***

you can get some B12 chem tool, paint it on with a brush and then pressure wash it off

or some H2O off, same as above, but more toxic, and off gases, but gets the job done. . . . and watch it wrinkle off, and then hose it off.

But this chit is TOXIC, in all kinds of ways. You'll need some long sleves and gloves and glasses if you even think of this
