Hey guys, my new GM frame came in today and need to know how to prep it to be painted. What can i use to remove all the wax that is put on them from the factory? I was told Kerosene will work but is there anything else i need or that will work better? I'll be needing to prep the rear end as well for paint. any suggestions would be great. thanks.
ps in case you missed it and are wondering why i got a new frame: https://www.performancetrucks.net/fo...d.php?t=389919

I'd probably rent a hot water pressure washer and save lots of time and headache.
Or pay someone that has a pressure washing business to do it. Who knows, they may charge about the same price as the rental.

OK, it is wax. And you guys are suggesting 50 cans of carburetor cleaner over a 1500+psi pressure washer blowing 190* water? My way it is all gone in 15mins tops, your way it is gone in 15hours.
