Default New 14 bolt in

Got my new 14 bolt painted up and in today unfortunatly the drive shaft is two inches to long. I read in the stickies that it did not need to be shortened. Don't know why mine does but oh well.

Who said it does not need to be shortened??? The factory Drive shaft in the 2wd Ex cabs 1500 with a 14 bolt is 5/8 shorter between a 10 bolt and a 14 bolt 9.5.
