Default need a "how to" to for....

edit...i failed once again on the title...i am making a habit of this.

taking the 2 inch blocks out of my 4wd RCSB 05 chevy....my intent is to level the truck out for when my SS rims show up...a step by step with pictures would be appreciated. However any bit of info would help..

thanks
mike

P.S. i know this isnt a huge tough project...but i like to have some directions when i tackle a project...and for reference i have done a head and cam swap on a 02 WS6 so this shouldn't be to tough for me to do.

jack up the frame of the truck on each side and stick a jack underneath the rear end and jack it up untill it puts tension on the springs and then unbolt the u-bolts and let the jack down a bit and take the blocks out and then jack the rear end up and get all pinned back in and bolt it back up. your either going to need to get shorter bolts or use 2in spacers to space the nuts out.

Also may have to unbolt the bottom shock mount to get the rear end to drop enough

If you decide to use the 2WD ubolts, you would be looking for part number 15002781. Of course that part number is for one and you will need four. Also you will want remove the extension brackets the bump stops are mounted to in the rear. One removed you will notice there is a bolt hole for them to mount right to the frame and will give you a little more clearance.
