Not 6 cranks but 8 to level 2wd
#1
Okay, just wanted to share this information. I kept searching and came across the thread with the guy who worked at Discount Tire. And policy was 6 turns to level. Well 6 turns does look somewhat level but not.. still measured a 1" short. 2 more cranks took me back same measurements as rear... so a total of 8 turns was need. 36-3/4" I believe they all measure now.
Looks tons better.. should come this way stock... The ride quality effect is all BS Im starting to notice. It is the same. The only thing is the front shocks are too short. Making the travel compression less. This will be changed with some extensions for the shocks in the front off a 04 2wd I believe?
Just wanted to share this info with my fellow truck owners. Steering wheel is still straight, but Im getting alignment this weekend still.
Now even though my Tbars are not maxed. I still have 1-2 turns I believe. I think I have nothing to worry about once I get the shock extenders or longer shocks. I kept also reading harder on front end, which I do not think will effect a 2wd as much as it would a 4wd with cv axles etc. As the 2wd has none.
