No experience with a 14bolt but I like the Eaton posi in my 8.6 which they also make for a 9.5. I feel the torque sensing LSDs are more predictable than the wheel speed differential sensing lockers. So my vote would be the eaton posi or truetrac, whichever is cheaper. I believe Yukon makes a copy of eaton labeled the Duragrip and Standard gear copies the Truetrac with the Valuetrac.

I'm curious to see how my factory locker engages in my Z71. I know when I put it in 4low it's solid locked...

Im running a yukon duragrip. I dont have many miles on it since i just installed it this past sunday, but ut has great reviews and is very bank account friendly. I got gears, the duragrip unit and installation kit for 500 to my door. But, mine is a 10 bolt 8.6.

I have a 14 bolt in my 03 and I really like the Eaton Detroit Truetrac thats in it. The engagement is predictable and it doesn't have wearable parts like other diffs.

Thanks guys keep it coming. I just want both wheels to pull. I have had posi unit that turn loose on a burn out and who know if it work going down the strip. I have to have both wheels pulling. The G80 will lock on a burn out but want going down the strip.
